off moreton 21 and 22/6/14

had a late start yesterday leaving manly on a solo run at 9am,first 4 drops I got belted on the drop and couldn't stop them...I managed 2 nice snapper to bring home biggest at 76cm and another at 69.5 cm..also got another 74cm one but had to release it to keep with the bag limits.all up I released approx 12 keeper squire between 35 and 40cm..being only person on the boat I wanted to bring home the bigger models 50cm+

today I went out with my oldman ,first drop I get a 63.5 cm which was the biggest for the day...the next 2 hrs was spent catching prob 15 odd undersized squire which where released ... around 9.30 all the other boats had moved on from the 33's and the fish came on the chew big time..in the next 20 minutes we caught the rest of our bag of snapps,not huge fish but between 37 and 63.5..was great to spend the day with dad on the water...

welcome back rosco, the fishing reports for offshore have been few and far between since the exodus. good to have you back. humdinger was here the other day. i am getting excited! hopefully a few more wander back here from the crab site.
off to the sunny coast for a week so hopefully i will have some offshore reports next week!!

I retire on 25th july, sold business, get hernias done, then plenty time for fishing, still 8 1/2 yrs before I get any money of the government/pension
