Boat Trailer project

Well the trailer is registered at last. Project completed.

Tare was 1220kg and have ATM of 4.3ton so that should keep me on the right side of the law. Filled all the forms out before heading off for the inspection/reregistration. Left home at 8.00am had it over the scales, got VIN number from transport dept, roadworthy inspection and then back to transport dept for their inspection, paid the fees and back home by 10.00am. I was thinking it would be most of the day getting it all completed so was happy.

I was thinking wonder why the cost for the rollers was so high, I can see now! Nice job....

Thanks, Now I need to start the new motor project so I will still be a little way off enjoying the boat but I can see the end.

Crunchy I have 80 rollers on the trailer and when I had the boat on for a trial fit they all just disappeared and I was wondering if I should have some more LOL. Hoping that it will make it easy to drive off and on. I built it like a brick shithouse as I do want to travel long distances like 1770 and beyond. Hope to pull it to Cairns as that is where I spent most of my life and fishing. Want to take the son up there and show him some great spots.

Rollers are like rod holders - you can never have too many but they do need to be in the right spots. Should support the rig beautifully Brett. Nice job mate.

Mate now that I have finished the trailer it's time to start work on re-wiring the rig. I just need to finish off removing the anti-foul and get Rednuts to remove the mercruiser and it's wiring out. I hope I can still get some advice from you when I start the project. I have been trying to convince the wife that she could remove the anti-foul while I am away to work. Not having much luck with that.

I am running well behind with getting this boat in the water for Christmas. The way it's looking at present I think the boat will be in Rednuts workshop at Christmas getting the new motor installed.

No worries mate. Just found out I have no serious work from now till probably October due to a site stoppage so I should be around (if I'm not fishing)
