G'day guys was having a fair bit of success at the beacons a few months back but havent had the chance to get into the water for a while due to weather and work.
This saturday is looking pretty good on the weather and work front and I am just wondering how the beacons fish during the winter/cooler months? Has anyone got any experience/been having any luck lately.
Hey nick, love fishing around these beacons in the last few months. Spinning a few metal slugs 40 to 60 g. Had a fair bit of success. Mackerel only. But the way the weather has been lately, there should hopefully be a couple about. Trick I've learnt is when you buy the metal slugs, double the swivel on the end. Cause easily snipped. But never fish them in winter. But there has too be something about
