Live Bait

Is there any areas around Wellington Point Cleveland, that you can catch live bait using a bait jig. Was at the beacons a few weeks ago and got lots but it's a long way from the bayside

At times you can find herring or pike. The sabikis also work on Diver Whiting which are a top Snapper bait. You normally don't get Yakkas or slimies in close

at raby bay you can get plenty of livies with a cast net, next to the ramp in William street

Try a bait jig around the houseboat if you have the GPS mark there is some good bait there. Also the spoil grounds just outside and north of raby bay.
