I know how far a 60lt tank will get me with the 70 4S yam on a Bluefin 4.75 CC. A full tank might last me 4 or 5 trips out around the broadwater and a trip or two out to the 24's but you guys with the 100 plus HP 4S what would 60lt get you???

Hi Wayno I get about 75km if I cruise at 40-45km/h in the 9m longboat, 225hp honda or 3/4 hour at 70km
240km in the haines 4.8 barra boat with a 60hp yammy
I often hit the islands and get more fish per litre out of the little boat but it is a bit hard to fish the shoals for a day with 4 mates

I know it's not a 4 stroke but the 200ho on the victory would get 60kms on 60 litres at WOT in flat conditions. Just cruising about 75kms.
Suzuki DF115 (2010 year) averages about 2.3 km to the litre. Surtees workmate 5.5 cuddy.
So 138 kms from 60 liters. Enough to get me from Cleveland to the 35s, fish around the place all day, and home again with a bit to spare in case the weather is crook and i use more than normal.
Note to self: Don't argue with an idiot. They will only bring you down to their level and beat you with experience....
2014 Suzuki df175 4s. 6.25m tournament walk-around getting 1.8-1.9 km per litre at 23-24kts. So cruising in medium weather I get around 108km which is pretty good I think
happy days ahead summer is coming
Hehe 660 noosacat with my old twin 140 2 smokes would be 35km.
Twin 115's 4 strokes now would be 55km with 4 pob and 500ltr fuel on board. Massive difference the 4 strokes.
Whew feral cat, you made me feel better with those figures. My 610 Quintrex Offshore with 150 4s Yamaha gives 1.65 kilometres per litre @ 35kph in flattish seas, so close to 100ks from a 60 litre tank ( 2 on board). Jsmfun has me jealous at 1.85ks/litre for his 175hp Suzuki.
