Ah ok that's a great idea. The sprinkler system is a smart idea too.
Yeah I've seen those air dock's and some other type's before and I've always wondered about the cleaning side of things. The way it's all set up look's like it'll be no problem to clean that fishing weapon you've got there.
Darren
I was going to get Daves dad to do my cabin,Luke had him do his.
As for the seadeck i am going to run the same but in the fake Teak.
What was the single layer worth for the floor?
What was the brand and product code for the adhesive you used?
And the sound proofing what and where?
There are so many acoustic/thermal insulations available for cabin lining it's hard to know what to use as Mick said it would be great to know what you used?
cheers Nick
Gday guys, the cabin lining I used was just some grey foam with self adhesive. If you are aware of the foam that concreters use in expansion joints, it seems to be exactly the same as that? I got it from F.R.I. (Foam and rubber industries) maroochydore. In was 1200mm wide and about $28 per lineal meter. I have lined the hardtop and the whole cabin area and used about 9 meters.
The Seadek flooring was $190 per sheet inc gst. It is only the single layer 5mm thick. I got it from Southern Cross Textiles. I bought 6 sheets and have got very little left.
I will get the product code for the adhesive tonight Mick, I am just leaving now to blood the boat.
Mick, mate it is SikaBond Spray Fix high strength contact adhesive in a 575ml can.
seems like pretty good gear but it doesn't go very far? Maybe I was a bit excessive but I have used 9 cans?
Cheers
Lee

Did you blood the boat???
Details please.....
Yeh mate, took her for it's first fish, nothing too exciting, just a quick trip to caloundra 12 mile. Caught 1 mackerel, a cobia and a nice bag of parrot, snapper and Moses perch. Nothing big but was more of a trip to see what worked and what didn't.
Everything worked very well, sounder read a great picture at 45 km/h. Did 75km for 70 lt of fuel.
Can get serious about the fishing now I am confident everything is reliable.
