What kind of miles do you need to do in the boats to make this worth while?

    cheers

We might have to work something out with my boat next year Murf. I don't even think you'll need supervision next time, just wake me when all's ready.

Did you fly up or drive there Terry?
Do you think Horse should have a bow mount electric on his boat? And what was the water visibility like? Sorry for all the questions but I have a monthly quota and a new month just ticked over.

Struth! I have to keep remembering that I can't swear on this site and its against my nature.

Seeing that you asked, I flew to Darwin then Sydney then Coffs then drove up with Jim and Murf.

Horse is a gentleman so I will not discuss his propulsion .

Water was visible most of the time I was there.

Great report Neil - especially the pics.

Looks like a church choir tea party

    Rev crab?

Thanks for posting - a few smiles in those pics - looks like a lot of fun.

Generous of you Bill handing your boat out to all future offshore gtgs - expect it comes with full fuel tanks and is returned empty.
    Cheers

The road took 2 & 1/2 hours on the way in. Wet, muddy conditions. About the same time out in dry dusty conditions. Yes, best of boat worlds, towing a 6.5 m glass boat. All good at average of 35 - 50 km/hr. Road got a little rough after the Shoalwater Bay Army Range gates (about 60 km in). But easy to do if you take your time, prep your boat well, and slow down for cattle grids, creeks, etc.

100% agree. We used to do Agnes as our yearly boys trip but in my view it doesn't even come close especially when you throw in a day or two at the Swains. Awesome trip guys and good to see you got amongst them. The more times you the better you understand it and the better it gets. I cant wait till we go again only a few more weeks sleep and we will be there again.
