    Gal trailer bubbles

Hey all, looking at a boat and pretty keen. Just wondering about the bubbles on the gal trailer. Any ideas? is it the gal bubbling and rusting underneath??

    Cheers

Yeah bud that looks like rust. Might not be all that bad though. Just check underneath around the drain hole and make Sure it's still solid.
If you cleaned it all up it looks like it would still last a while.

What's the rest of the trailer like?

Yeah mate rest of trailer looks pretty good. I-beam main frame, only bubbles are on the cross members.

Take it to the galvanizers for thier opinion.......I get around 10k worth of gal done a month and am yet to see anything resembling that on solid open form steel.

That looks like something has been spilt on the cross member to make the gal lift up like that.

Especially seeing as how it looks worse on one side.

    Brake fluid maybe???

Give one of the bubbles a belt with a hammer or two. You'll soon know whether its rust.
