Mackerel still about

Hey guys just seeing if anyone has still been on the mackerel of southport this weekend

Went out from Mooloolaba last week and there where loads of Spanish and Spotty mackerel about. Trolling dead slimeys or casting slugs both worked well

got 5 Spanish in ours and 8 in my mates on Saturday just gone out off Mooloolaba trolling hard bodies

Good session - definitely loads of mackerel around at the moment. I wonder how much longer they will stay around for? The overnight temps are forecast to drop into single figures this weekend so winter is on the way
