Trouble with Charts - Navionics Gold Card on Lowrance HDI 7
Hey Guys - looking for some quick help if possible please. I have a Lowrance HDI 7 Elite with a gold card. On start up it acquires position, 8 birds in the sky; and sends confirm message to screen, the GPS locations it shows correct for southern hemisphere .... East / South, correct time for local Brisbane ..... yet the chart stays on the USA with West / North . Why? Should move to local chart automatically surely?

Press your menu button twice which displays the internal menu. Select chart option and cha get chart selection from Lowrance to Navionics if you haven't already done so. Then X out until you get back into the chart screen and should be right. If the cursor is present the unit is on cursor mode, rather than ship mode it'll centre back to the US from default when the unit is new.
