    Best place to chase mackeral

Hey guys I'm hoping to do my first fishing trip on the ski over Easter but I am very limited on days to go so I want to give myself the best chance at catching some of the mackeral that seem to be around. Where is the best place to chase them off the ski? I was thinking maybe mermaid reef? Any opinions would be great. Oh I live on the south side of Brisbane but would be happy to travel in either direction.
    thanks

They move around, so find the birds, find the bait, or find a group of boats, and there'll be macks or tuna somewhere around.

    good luck

Palm Beach Reef is always a safe bet for some form of action.

Lots of mackerel on the reefs around Caloundra if you want to travel that far

    Hi Guys

I am looking to do some fishing off Morton Island/ Morton Bay and I am looking for someone to go with as I do not have very much experience and want to learn how to fish off a jet ski.
