    Spanish & Spanners

Had a great day on the water with Reel Adventure Fish skippered by Clyde Brown off the Goldie. Managed this nice Spanish and a decent haul of spanners.
Nailed the Spaniard on a Halco Laser Pro (bonito colour)- the only one of the trip.
Bottom bashed for bit but nothing much came up.
Overall a great morning on the water and a big thanks to Clyde and his brother/ deckie 'Arfur' two of the funniest poms you'll ever meet. Can't rate this charter highly enough, 30 foot Noosacat (8-10 people). Give em a try!!
    Cheers,
    Jimbo

I went whiting fishing at the Rous on sunday. Got a hit, played for about 15 min. In the net went a 81 cm Spanish mackeral. Whiting rod, 4 lb line, 6 lb leader

Haha, I've had a few schoolies snip tails off whiting in the rous, but a Spanish sure is a surprise!

    Cheers, PP
