I took my brother and father inlaws of the cape today on our way from wynnum we casted at some mac tuna past the 4 beacons landing 5 all around 1 kg bit of fun to start the morning. After that continued on to the cape trolled for around 2 hours for 1 mac tuna around 5kg .they wanted to bottom bash so out to deep tempest our first drift we landed 3 squire around the low 40's second drift spun me out I hooked a horse finally got him to the surface a 111cm yellow tail kingfish gestamated 12 kg then another low 40's squire as we packed up for the day last fish flathead in 90m of water. I did not know kingfish are around all year and I did not expect the flathead that's my surprise as it surprised me .
