Epirb - where to get good prices

Ok guys. I'm looking to get a new epirb but as usual don't want to pay alot.
My old epirb would have cost $70 to replace the battery but due to the epirb being outside some stickers have let go.

so what's the best deal now.

cheapest I've got for a gps model is $290

it just seems like its a race to the bottom. for the sake of a cup of coffee. just pop down to your local independent boat shop and grab one for around the same price and keep a local shop going . handy to have a good rep with your local as well
are we really that nit picky in australia now?

Make sure you get the KTI GPS SA1G model as it sends a signal with the GPS coordinates to the satellite and narrows down the search area to 120 meters. Plus it has a 72 hour transmission time.
