Tackle Recommendations Please?

I got my Shimano Baitrunner 6000 today from Marine Deals Australia. Reading through the manual, I was surprised and disappointed to see that it only has a 1 year warranty. I had ASSumed all Shimanos were 10 years. It appears they are importing reels from the US where the warranty is only 1 year.

Correction: the white piece of paper in the box with the reel in multiple languages had a statement on the Shimano warranty being 1 year. I went off on that in multiple venues. However, looking at the actual warranty card, the warranty is 10 years. I also spoke to Marine Deals and they confirmed they buy everything from Shimano directly so we do get the 10 year warranty from Marine Deals. Apologies to Marine Deals.

Update on MarineDeals dot com dot au. First of all, my mistake on the warranty. I was reading one of the white multi-language pieces of paper in the box and IT said 1 year warranty. However the actual warranty card said 10 years. I spoke directly to this crowd (they are in NZ and ship to Oz from there) and they assured me that they only buy from Shimano Aus/NZ and they get the full 10 year warranty.
