    GARMIN 750 - tracks

From what i believe its not possible but I might be wrong, and that would not be the first time.
If I have a number of saved tracks in different colors, can I display all these track at the same time while recording the active track.

If the tracks are loaded go into stored tracks and change each track to a different colour so that they are identifyable

Every stored track is displayed on the map, I don't think there is an option to not do this

Interesting, I've played around with tracks but so far can only follow a saved track. I'll have another look, the manual not much help at all.

Prior to having a card with green zones on it i would enter all the way points for a green zone then link them up with a saved track in the green colour. I have also made up some tracks for navigating in shallower areas using the shortest route tested at low tide and used another colour, all saved as routes. Most of this i do on homeport on the computer then copy it to my gps works a treat.

Bruce, have you saved the tracks in Homeport and transferred them back to the 750 or was it all on the unit itself. A couple of times I've managed to make changes but forgot to transfer them from the card, blame it on walking through a door way.

It's all on the unit, I don't have homeport installed. I must do it.

    Bruce,

Ok, after testing you are correct, you can't display a saved track and an active track at the same time.

what you need to do is convert your saved track to a route and then display the route or follow the saved track.
