hi all just after some general info about northern and or southern bay reports as to what i might chase tomorrow.
I have not been out for six months as was boatless but now i have a new (precious) first fising trip in the new boat and cant wait can go either end as leaving from wynnum any reports would be appreciated
happy days ahead summer is coming
I spent a couple of hours trolling hardbodies around Scarborough reef today and caught a lot of weed! Too choppy to anchor up (seasick).

6 months must be tough, i'm freakin out after 3 weeks on land!!
i'll be heading out tomorrow to the northern bay, 3 weeks ago we were into some decent snapper and cod. Also boated a few spaniards and cobes.
so tomorrow i'll be fishing the shallows near moreton for mackerel and cobes we'll see how we go!!
My wife said there is only so many times you can rig and re rig .lol
it has been so hard being on land for 6 months I had to go on a couple off charters with fish the deep out of southport to get my fix might see you up there as I need to put some hours on the suzi

I know your pain,Got tired of putting fishing trips off because of the wind myself. Last sat was no different I think the forecast was for 20knt easterlies and that's what eventuated. Not until the change of tide though and 3 of us were smashing Moses perch, bream and tarwine around tiger mullet channel in the pin. Fish to the conditions, the Yalta made a windy pin trip effortlessly and I think any boat would have been fine amongst the islands. Took home a feed, got busted off twice so there were bigger fish there than the late 20s we took home for the plate.
