1770 14/2 if the weather improves...

Hey guys,
We are planning on heading up to 1770 on Friday 14th if anyone is interested in saying hello?
At this stage, we will be leaving Brisbane early Friday, then fish up around Bustard Head (throwing surface lures etc). Then stay at La La Land Friday night for a f cold ones round the mozzie coil. Saturday the plan is to head out to the reef for a mix of popping, trolling and bottom bashing. We will stay at La La Land Saturday night, then head home Sunday morning.
If you're interested in catching up, send me a PM. Just hope this nasty weather settles down by then!

Not a bad run up from Brisbane today, hit the water about 1pm. Ran straight up to the Barcoola wreck in GLAMOROUS. Conditions. Had a reasonable session jigging for a mixed bag of Trevally, Kingfish and Amberjack. Great fun on light gear.
Jason even scored a legal small mouth nannigai.
Looking forward to more action tomorrow, though will have to contend with a 15-20 kt North Wester

Locals Roz and Tony hit Bustard Head ( friday ) for only 1 Spanish.... not a lot of birds working etc....

Weather wasn't as bad as forcast today. We saw 15 kts max. Popper fished all the rocks out from Bustard, but only had a few swipes from Gts and Queenies. It was very quiet. Did score a fair Longtail on the troll around Middle Rock.
We took another run out to the Barcoola and it was sad there too. A few more reefies to take home, but the Pelagics were not interested. Barometer is pretty low, so that might be the issue?
Gotta say how good it is at Lala Land! This place is perfect with the boat, but bring the mozie spray!!
