NQ - is this your lure?

Hi guys,

Found this lure today at the Cape Kimberly beach clean up (Daintree area), it's fairly distinctive with the home-made black stripe. So just wondering if it was yours how long ago did you lose it and how far away (roughly) did you lose it? Interestingly the body is fairly chalky now, the hooks have long gone but the lure itself is still in pretty good shape, including the stainless rings etc.

We found a fair few lures amongst the several hundred kilograms of plastics and other debris. If you feel like getting involved check out the Tangaroa Blue website.

I don't own the lure, but I know that in your signature a 4.5kg red emperor is 630mm (two of the fish I got today were exactly 4.5kg in good condition)
