I read my honda 2k generator manual whilst on a beach camping trip yesterday. It said that you shouldn't let the gennie run out of fuel as it spikes power and can ruin your charger. I didn't know that. I've been on a lot of fishing trips where the guys say when we leave camp for the day, we'll just let it run out of fuel to stop it. Interesting.
Mine was refusing to switch off via the on/off switch I had to flood it to get it to stop. I'm thinking perhaps the switch has given out. Any way I'll give it a service and then see what I'm left with.
