Clever solution to stop a rod falling out of a wire rod holder?
I bought a 3 position wire rod holder if the tides running the right way or if I am trolling it works a treat however if there is no pressure holding the rod against the wire it could tip out which would be a problem. Has anyone come up with a clever way to stop the rod falling out but still having it easily accessible when a big one bites?
Occy straps?
A rod/reel tether about 1 meter long. If it does go in you can get it back and you still get that freedom.
