Mate got this given to him from his mother, was his fathers. can someone tell us what kind of rod it is and what it's used for. I'm not a real expert. Also is the reel suitable for the rod?
The rod should have a length and weight rating on it some where as well as it's make and model. Will help a great deal in what it is suitable for.
Any chance you know how heavy the line is the reel is spooled with?
