    The beloved..... Or

The Commander-in-Chief of the Opposing Forces

    The Leader of the Opposition

    SWMBO

whichever way...... Trouble looms sooner or later if she's not happy!

Taking mine on an OS holiday to Japan for 3 weeks in a couple of months time. That should get me a week pass to 1770 and a couple of shorter weekend passes to Rainbow beach, with any luck!
Note to self: Don't argue with an idiot. They will only bring you down to their level and beat you with experience....

funny how though crap can turn into cash. i bought a cheap washing machine some no name brand from every bodies favorite "Peoples republic" and it was an ightmare with issues. anyway so after being told spite warranty it would cost me 70 dollars to fix. anyway. gumtree later.. broken washing machine for parts.. and 50 bucks in my pocket.

ive just taken a few more quick simple videos showing some of the other units in question. ill post them up soon-ish

Geez CM that is sweet. Does anyone else currently have this wifi feature or just raymarine? All of this sounder candy, cant wait until the wife lifts this embargo on purchases

another video showing some of the other features of the a78 and the humminbird 898si

yeah the navico brands "lowrance, simrad,B&G" all can do a similar thing via wifi using the GoFree wireless module

garmin also has wifi, but as of yet they havnt implimented a mirroring feature yet. soon i would imagine.

and the newer units from humminbird this year the ION and ONIX will more than likely be able to do the same thing

Back again, thanks all for the info still working my way through it all but have found a deal with the Lowrance Elite7 HDI including transducer for less than $1K. Seems like a good deal, any thoughts.

yeah its pretty commonplace to get under 1k elite 7s. andddd... its. not a bad unit thats for sure. HOWEVER.. for that coin. id go with the echomap70s
    newer.
    faster
    touchscreen
    better mapping options

    IMO

Tried out the Echomap 70's at the Brisbane boat show. Nice bit of kit. After playing with the pinch and touch screens there was no way I was going to buy a tradition unit.
