I went over the Bloomfield last July phil and it was all good.... Don't know about now since this recent cyclone

Bloomfield was closed for a few days last week and is now a bit chopped up with all the 4x4 s trying to get through ,unless your full kit the bloke at cape trib was saying don't bother but apparently the blokes i talked to at the pub last night recons another couple of clear days and it will be fine. We just spent the week at cape trib and let me say rain and wind like we haven't seen for years , glad to be dry at port Douglas at least..Matt

Yeh the weather here has been terrible for 3 weeks and still not showing signs of improving....

Yep when we went over it was the low bridge with concrete barriers on either side.... Had about an inch of water over it...
