Rewarding sitting out there all day then catching a couple of rippers at the end of the day to make the effort worth while.
Although just being out there is worthwhile enough only making the catch that much better. You've probably started an octijig thing now though!!

Is the houseboat a well known spot or a secret spot? If it's not would like to know where it is if someone could share a mark......
yep, the houseboat is a well known secret spot... it is within 100m south west of the spit beacon and is easy to spot on your sounder. there is almost always boats there. if this doesn't help, send me a pm and i will send you the mark.
