    I'm more concerned with the need for 4 pot rules in SEQ. Aren't the main target cray species with pots in places like Somerset dam considered a "non-native" or pest in these areas?

    if so why would fisheries be concerned with overfishing in these areas? What's next bag limits on tilapia?

    I learnt the hard way that you must have your first and last name on a float in freshwater.
    Although i had my initial and surname and ph number on the float along with a tag with name ,address and ph number it still cost me 12 redclaw pots along with rope and floats.Not a cheap exersize.

    You're right, makes about as much sense as the closed season NSW has on deer.
