    New motors

    Have replaced E-TECS with these 2x150 Mercurys commercial 4strokes what a big difference in fuel alone getting 1.8 ltrs to the NM on an average day around the 80ltrs per trip less fuelfishing photos 235.jpg

    what props are you running with the weight? and whats your cruise/rpm and wot speed/rpm?

    VOLVO that's both motors which is good i was expecting around the 1to 1.3 ltr/nm which still would have been good so am pretty happy

    weight is around 3 ton mercury ss17p Enertia 24-26 knots around 3800rpm 40knots at 6000rpm

    I would love one of these on my boat but I am not paying the 20k they want up here to fit one, when one comes up second hand I might grab it if the price is right.

    Springwood Marine in Brisbane quoted me $ 18k fitted with stainless prop a couple of months ago.

    Yeh long way to go from Mackay, they will come up soon from some of the pro boats, charter boats etc. I just have to keep an eye out.

    all mercs come standard with stainless props after 40hp
