    Fitzroy/Lady Musgrave Recommendation

My sister's visiting from London 2nd half of December and I'm thinking of spending a few days with her at 1770/Agnes Water as part of the tour itinerary. I'm thinking of a day trip out with a charter to do some fishing and snorkeling at Fitzroy or Lady Musgrave. Anyone's got any recommendations? Going with Lady Musgrave Cruises/Spirit of 1770 and hundreds of other people doesn't quite appeal. Besides, what's a trip like that without some fishing thrown in. We're a party of 3 adults and 1 child so looking for a smaller operator who is happy to show us around and be a little flexible in terms of itinerary. Appreciate your suggestions thanks.

    I am unaware of a " smaller " charter.

It seems you either do the day trip to the island or go fishing. ( I think the Lady Musgrave does have the fishing experience available ? )

There are many other things to do there.

Take the LARC up to Bustard Head ( Lighthouse ) is a great way to spend the day.

have a quick look around here:-

accomodation can be from PRD Realty... Michelle ... tell her you are an Ausfish member for the best house to suit your needs.

Nah, it's that reef where Muddy Toes and Murf always seem to have their radio's on the Fritz!

I think that submission by macca was aimed at me... just because he spells Fraser Island differently ?

Thanks but I've checked and he's not available on those 2 days. I'm also hoping to get a private/exclusive charter that is a little more flexible in terms of itinerary so that we can fish and snorkel. I'm the only keen fishio, the 2 ladies and our 8 year old just want to have a relaxing day out. A shared charter with 12 mad keen hard core types isn't really compatible with our little party.
