Ducked out early with a mate to beat the wind, fished Donnybrook for the last 1 1/2 of the run out tide for 4 flatty 2 mid 50's and 2 mid 40's. All were caught on a 3 inch squidgy curly tail in a dark red/black colour (not sure of the exact name)
With a feed in the bag we decided to head further up and have a look around Coochin Ck mouth, the wind was howling by this stage and the leccie decided to pack it in so we opted for trolling some hard bodies along this nice little mangrove bank, the first lure is now a lip piercing and the second lure went the same way.
Ended up picking up another nice flatty high 50's trolling a softie at the mouth of Coochin which swam away happily.
No photos as I forgot, but i did manage to outfish my mate 4-1 for the first time in about 2 years so good to get that monkey off my back!!!!
Did have 4 pots out but not a crab to be seen, don't know the area though.
