    gear storage

Got a new bag and plastic containers for tackle so need to move the old gear into my clean fresh boxes and want to keep them that way, the old stuff got the usual bits of rust etc.......any suggestions for keeping the new containers rust free?

Yeah mate, Dont take em near saltwater..
I find once rust starts it tends to spread to everything else in my tacklebox.
Just keep replacing the rusty hooks & bits and give em a squirt with lanolin spray. must work as I have never seen a rusty sheep yet
    cheers.

A lot of guys have their tackle really well organized, but I don't like taking all my tackle out on every fishing trip. All your gear is exposed to salt air .....
Just take what you need for the day, in a shoulder bag, that makes it easier to walk the banks as well....

Flambeau zrust could be your answer, probably to late for you to buy the boxes but they also do dividers that replace the ones that come with the boxes.
