taking nephew out

i am taking my nephew out in the boat off port kembla tomorrow. niether of us have a clue what we should be targeting. any advice would be appreciated regarding what fish are out there, what bait to use and where to go exactly. thanks for any help you can give

Without knowing the area - if your nephew is a young fella, just getting into fishing, I would recommend little hooks, little baits and chasing little fish. The young kids will have a ball and a really memorable day constantly pulling in fish. They will get bored and loose interest if waiting all day for a trophy fish. Have a fun day on the boat with kids.

Could be completely off the mark here and your nephew may be an adult, teenager etc.
