Making my own feather jigs what to use for tightening feathers

So I'm having a go at making my own feather jigs for big reds, and just wanna know what ppl have used to tight there feather and lumos to their hooks. As the ones in the stores look like a very heavy duty rubber band around the 10/0 hooks just wondering we're I could get these from or something else to substitute this. Cheers

super glue then wrap some braid around followed by more superglue is what i've done in the past and have had no problems.
