Newbie from Perth

G'day from WA. Bought a cheap project boat last weekend (my first) and found this site looking for some tips. Since I've taken the advice, it seemed only fair to join
My wife and I love our fishing (she may actually be more keen than me!)but tend to be fine weather fishos Having said that almost our holidays are based around fishing and between here and the 12 years I lived in Brissie I've had some good days fishing.
As a matter of fact, we've got two weeks in Tassie and two weeks in Melbourne in November so, if anyone wants to suggest good spots for some land-based fishing, feel free to share
