I woke up at 4am and drove up to Caloundra for a fish and photo session. I think high tide may have been close to 6am. I purchased a second spool for my reel so I could soak some bait and with some frozen prawns I caught 4 legal bream in about 4 hours. Fishing was slow and they all went back to grow bigger. There are a lot of rude people up there at the jetty I used to like fishing from, I hadn't been up there for years. Some locals came and jigged for pike and we had a chat and maybe I will try where they mentioned just to get away from the ignorant fisher people and unsupervised children.
