    nice arvo at mud

hi all. been a while since my last snapper post - work gets in the way a bit. i'm at that time of year when there's a bit of a lull and today I escaped just after 11. had a quiet morning at peel sunday so decided it was time for another mud run. stopped at harries on the way and was the only boat there. no action tho so up to mud I continued. only 2 boats at mud too so I started on the east. where were all the boats today? first cast and my octajig gets hit and I lost an assist hook and what looked like a good tailor with it. an uneventful half hour (excepting a grinner) later saw me on my way to the nw side and half hour after that and a just over 70 comes aboard. stuck around for a bit longer but with the wind coming up and against the tide I made for home. back just after 4. good to get back out and the arvo was really nice before the change.

Nice fish. It was surprisingly pretty quiet out there yesterday too. Still had a couple gooses motor past way too close as usual though.

    Well done Dave.
    Cheers, Doug.
Love to use Preditek or Kingfisher lures or Viva Lures when I am out fishing.
