Anyone know anything about "Speedi Sleeves" for trailer axles?

Hi all, does anyone know anything about "Speedi Sleeves" for trailer axles?

That's the small stainless sleeve you can fit to your axle so the rear hub seal makes a better contact. I'm running oil bath hubs and keep having issues with water leaking in the back of 1 hub.

Does anyone know where I can get them? Are they hard to fit? How much do they cost?

    Cheers

Chicago rawhide was the brand I used to fit on skid steer axles. I think they were bought by SKF?

Pretty easy to fit. Clean up the old surface (oil free), mix up the glue and apply and hammer the sleeve onto the axle with the supplied tool.

SKF web site should havea download. I found one bit it was in French

They are a good product but expensive. Looking at $30 each. Without the glue etc.

I have used SKF only. But I used a two part epoxy pipe joint glue called " ferropre" to glue onto axle. Worked well.

I also run dura hubs and love them when they seal. Sometimes takes two or three goes at the rear seal. You can also Sika flex the rubber seal to the axle as a fix prior to speedi sleeves.
