To all those so called Maroochy River Experts who have fished the river forever that have time and time again stated and basically ridiculed the suggestion that there are squire/snapper in the Cod Hole...well here is another one for you to question.. This is a report from Swan Boat Hire a few days ago.
"Believe it or not!! Paul Cash caught this 2.7kg snapper near the Cod Hole, where the river water is very clear and clean even on low tide at present!"

A mate was fishing in the bramble bay fishing club competition in the passage and caught a 45cm Snapper in the blue hole whilst targeting bream . After that i would believe you would get the odd Snapper in the cod hole.

Ever thought mate that the ppl who fished it for years and years were denying the claim because they dont want every to dick n harry fishing it because they might catch a snapper there? So you proved a point that you can catch them there... so.. um.. whats the point of proving the point???

dont knock on deaths door... ring the doorbell and run... death hates that!!
plenty of dicks n harrys have fished the cod hole for years and years, regardless if there are reports of snapps in there or not
