that's probably the old ammo barge. on memory somewhere between river leads and mud?
I was just wondering if anyone has heard of the mark called the Barge, somewhere out in the bay.
I guess its called sunken barge or something like that
A mate gave me the marks but i dont know anything about it.
Cheers

fishing's as simple as 3 P's - patience, perserverance and PLASTIC!
Delete it from your gps Greg.....nothing to see here.
Very ambitious, Greg.
I know there are plenty of people doing it with trailer boats, but a fix-it-upper of that size will take forever.
You would be better off buying a barge in working order, various options are readily available on Boatpoint

It is a well known and bordering overfished spot Greg, does produce some very nice fish but only fishable by one boat at a time really. Currents rip through there as well. Good luck finding it vacant.
Jack.
Seriously though, after the 2011 Flood, MSQ did a survey and found way over a hundred objects of worrying size and shape that ended up in or near the shipping channel.
Many were removed by contractors during the big river clean up, but there are plenty of others items out there..... unknown, except maybe by MSQ or trawler operators.
I try to keep an eye out for anything unusal on my sounder while travelling out the front of the port of Brisbane.

Cheers, i saw mail 😉
Hardly a secret, it's on the navinics chart, nothing but vermin there
And if you manage to jag a growth covered object that looks unusual don't give it a thump to knock off the crust, you may end up in orbit....Jim
