went kayak fishing today pimpama river fish busting the surface everywhere mullet mainly trolled for a bit nothing threw a few good old servo prawns couple small bream and a flathead released them. whole day trolled a live mullet nothing . i threw a few more servo prawns with the livey still on my other rod BAM it goes screaming metre flathead i get it to the kayak let it run a few times got my lip grips ready got the flatty to the yak again held the leader nearly got the grips on he jumps and.... gets off . lots of swearing happend i got him about 4:30 here it is after 9 im still feeling cut about it ..the one that got away would have loved to take a pic and release but didnt quite get to

Yeah mate,it hurts even more when you see what you have lost.More the reason to go back again.
