ID:	95632Just a little report to fill the pages, went up Friday and caught 4 flathead and a 50cm jew, also had a bream fiollow a plastic to the boat that would have gone 2 kg, big blue head and thick blue lips, up again today for a few better quality flathead and the surprise of the day was a thick 55cm snapper which picked up my atomic prong and screamed off on my 3 kg braid- 8lb leader outfit, wife started the motor to chase but the fish pulled up a tad before we chased, we had a late start today to catch the low tide and it was right about the time the breeze picked up, snot weed was a bugger as well..

Gday manta, yeah im pretty sure its snot weed, comes every winter up there, its also on the beach front at sandgate atm, the spot where I got the snapper has produced quite a few snapper for me over the last 4 years, great fun on light gear but this year the flat head have been down on previous years though..
