I found the same thing when I was looking recently. I came to understand quickly that you cant really judge by the photos when dealing with older boats. They never look as good in the flesh.
Really makes you wonder how people expect to sell boats when they put no effort at all into presentation for potential buyers. Even some boats in that yard at Stayplton were dirty and not cleaned up well enough for sale. I realise that most of those boats are on consignment, but surely the yard could tell the owners what is needed to get a sale.
