Young blokes first snapper, goldy saturday morning

Took the young bloke and his mate out for a snapper session off goldy saturday morning. He had 2 snapper in the boat before i had untangled his first drop, one at 39 ,one 45 odd. His mate got another 43cm along with the usual trag, and lots of junior squire and strangely a leatherjacket. Everything went quiet as the sea glassed off so we watched some whales and cruised back in. I think the boys had more fun getting the squire ready for release in the bait tank with the yakkas. Smiles all round.

I was out there too we got 5 snapper between us and it was one of the best days out there. Well done getting the boys onto fish, there was plenty to do and see wasn't there?

Yeah good day out, snaps on squidlys. I also lost a good one...would have cracked the metre i reckon....about 5m from the boat....dont you just hate that. The fluro carbon leader looked like it delaminated...split longways if that makes sense...not happy jan.
