Personally I would hold off and see if you can throw a few more bucks at the rods. There are some absolute crackers out there for around the $250 mark including the Terez, T-curve and Saltist Demon Blood ranges
I would be looking at something in the 6'-6'6" for the overhead and around 7' for the spinnerA Proud Member of

For a cheaper option look at silstar crystal blues in the 6 foot boat range. Come in spinners and overhead. About 160 bucks I think. Tough to get a nice lighter weight muscle rod eg t curve 200 for less than 200 bucks these days I recon.

The t curve is the worst rod ever made. I know of 4 different people that have all broken their t curves. What makes it worse is that shimano actually replaced them without question.. That's what concreted it for me..
You can add Daiwa monster mesh rods to that list too..
That's just my opinion of course..
Happy hunting...

yeah the only problem is the saltist overhead is smaller then I thought, its really small in size, and to mount it on an offshore rod seems the rods are all to big for it. im looking for one with a small butt back seems impossible to find but ill keep looking haha
