Smile FIRST Whiting Bag-out on my OWN

Over to the Rous channel markers this morning....25 mins from Raby Bay.

    7 lil rippers by 9.30....Bagged @ 1.30pm.....4 hours....mainly 25-30cms.

Now, to elucidate......BIG word I know, but Muddy Feet/Toes will know what it means....

"Robsue" took me under his wing a wile back to show me how & where to bag-out on these sweet lil morsels.

Did well in the beginning in his boat.....but got a bit worse in my own....NEVER fear, we will try agin....

WELL, after getting the wrong scaling bag, lost MOST of what I had caught PLUS the ones that Rob had stood by with me to help me bagout...( he caught most of em' )

Sos' goes out this morn...against all odds...BUT....MADE it

Said hello to Dan (Macka 12) I think, lent him my NEW scaling bag & he was done....his sis had bought him the same one I lost all the previous whiting in & Rob had told me that he was out there....so worked out well.

Ahhhhhhhh.....bugga the M&G at Tipplers, I am taking Kerri out in the morn & prolly meet up with Rob......the MAN who took me there in the 1st instance.

    YEEHAHHHHHHH, Ray.

    Hey Ray,

Cheers for the loan today I will be getting the right bag this weekend! We ended up with 36 in an hour or two. All pretty good size and left them biting to come back home to spend more time with the visiting family.

Might see you out there again soon.

    Cheers,

    Dan

Was MY mistake M8.....I was warned ....BUT know better now.

As it turned out we started at 8.30 and bagged for 1 @ 12.30...50 in the ice cold slurry ( after scaling bag )

Kerri is now happy to fish between Harries & the Rous as long as weather permits

She was sceptical this morning, to say the least BUT was happy to try again knowing that we would not be alone....AND is now a convert

Gotta wonder but.....where will the SUMMER whiting be

    Thanks Rob,
    Ray & Kerri.
