The Wivenhoe Kayak & Canoe Fishing Convention / Brisbane River Bass Opening Classic is on 7 & 8 September at Captain Logan's Camp, Lake Wivenhoe.

Concept is: Catch > Measure > Photograph > Release
Species: Bass and Golden Perch
Locations: Lake Wivenhoe OR Brisbane River downstream of dam (2 separate events at the same time)

Entry - $50
Camping at Captain Logan's Camp & Lumley Hill - booked via SEQWater

No worries Pete. Gotta do what you gotta do. Entries are rolling in, I'm sure it's going to be a cracker comp this year. Both river & lake are looking good.

Update - the all new Old Town Predator 13 kayak will have it's Qld debut at the Wivenhoe Convention. This new kayak along with a huge range of other kayaks will be available for test paddle (for both competitors & public) over the weekend. This is a great opportunity to test drive a wide range of kayaks to find one that suits you.
