I have always found them pretty reasonable to deal with. Reminds me of one time at Mud a few years ago, I was out there with Chong on a R2M and we were checked not long after arriving. One of them noticed a couple of empty rum and coke cans and asked if we had had much to drink. To which I said, 'No, we have only just started.". Doh, probably the wrong thing to say to a policeman. Had a laugh and they were on their way.
I've been pulled over twice in the last few weeks, first at Peel then just short of Wello Point. Second time they got me to stop with their blue flashing lights - thought I must be speeding!
Anyhoo is was the same guys both times and, after they checked safety gear, they were more interested in my snapper luring techniques. Nice to be treated courteously and with respect - it works both ways...
