yeah I did, the fee was $3000 to modify a design unfortunately (not including any material differences), so am looking either Adam Schwetz or one of the other WA designers instead

    Transom pics.

The first one shows the extra bracing frame added forward of the rear bulkhead. it just helps to spread the load of the engine over a larger distance of the hull

Second pic is of the transom ready for welding, I have a some flat bar tacked onto the framing to help keep it from distorting.

Third pic shows some of the turn buck work required to get those frames up nice and snug against each other. especially with the transom, as soon as you have gaps, you start to compromise the weld strength.

Today I finished off orbital sanding the edge to edge welds on the cabin, gunwales and roof line.
The good thing about building a boat and having it at this point is if you don't feel like welding for the day, there are always lots of other things to do!

Fuel water filters are run on the aft side of the rear bulkhead, they will have a little 'roof' over their heads so they never see direct sunlight.

Quick question for you, since you install engines every day, wil i have any shifting issues because the cable are going to be about 1.2 ish meters different in size?
No Ric you shouldn't have any issues with shifting as long as you use premium cables

Yep a fair bit has been happening, pushing about 25 hrs per week on this project over the last 2 months.
Both fuel tanks are in, the fishing area is all seal welded and underfloor compartments completed.
Completed the seal welding for the galley/helm area.
    Transom area all finished,

Have started to finalise the underfloor conduits and have put in some of the main wiring loom prior to sealing up some of the last bits of flooring.
    All flotation foam is in.
Plumbing for the 200l fresh w is done

Welding on the final handles(thanks fatbouy - you did a nice job on those) and roof rod holders. + the galley and seating area this weekend.
Still need to do mounting plates for the anchor winch, then all hot work is complete!

Picked up engines a couple of weeks ago.

The month of October will be for painting and finishing duties and then in the water November!

I will post up some pics this weekend.

ohh almost forgot to mention- i don't have a f---ing trailer!!!!!!!!!!

    Thanks
    Ric

Here are a couple of photos the Roof Hatch which we finished for Ric during this week.
Next week we are back on to making the frames for the sliding windows.
