after going to moreton island on Saturday and running into the fog i decided to upgrade my sounder to one which also had gps
i saw the above unit on internet for $699, so i went to b-f, they had it at $859, said no way they could sell it for $699, brought a few other small items, and when i went to the register, they told me on their computer/register it was marked down to $699, so i brought it off them.
i hope it is easy to install and use, im not the smartest person around with electronics

Yes and I installed one on my jetski.

I can tell more about my experience if you like but it is all positive so far.

Yep very straightforward, if you have any strife I am selling my Dr Sonar DVD for that model in the classifieds, it certainly helped me work out some of the settings.
