    Flushing motors.

If you've been out one day and you know you'll be back out the next, worth flushing or not??

I didn't and my reasoning was that if I was doing an overnighter I wouldn't be flushing it.

While I don't think it is necessary, I know of some commercial boats/motors that never get flushed.
I do it because I always give the boat a tub so it's clean for the next day.
Always top off the tank also.

OCD.....when it comes to my boat.....YOU BET YA!

while the motor/leg is in the water no air can get in and start the corrosion process.you should always flush motor

    Wayno,

You will get plenty fors and againsts here but I can tell ya from experience, you don't need to flush it if using it regularly even a few days without a flush wont hurt it. If it was that bad you wouldn't be allowed to put them in salt water at all.

Some people will insist its done daily but I recon that is just to make you all warm and fuzzy inside
