Hi mate, I'm further north but the same rules apply, fish pressure points of reefs, bommies and structure around islands and around any rocks off the charts. The best mack spots imo are a series of nice bommies fairly close to the reef that not too many people know about. Look for big schools of bait and the long slivers on the sounder (macks). Generally if you find the bait you'll find the macks, macks love structure usually, oh sharp drop offs on reefs (reef ledges) are good for macks & trout too. Happy hunting.
